In April 2024, China's flake graphite export volume was 5131.898 tons, up 5.36% month-on-month, with a total export value of US$5106011 and an average export price of US$994.96/ton, up 0.69% month-on-month. The cumulative export volume from January to April 2024 was 13,238 tons, a decrease of 12,453 tons or 48.47% from the same period last year. In terms of exports, overseas graphite mines are also being further developed, and the external demand for flake graphite may weaken further. In addition, at the end of 2023, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs of China issued an announcement on optimizing and adjusting the temporary export control measures for graphite items, which limited the export quantity of flake graphite to a certain extent.
